NCD Clinic
Provides early detection, treatment, and continuous care for chronic diseases to improve patients’ health and quality of life.

NCD

The NCD Clinic at Kirehe District Hospital provides specialized care for patients living with chronic non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, chronic respiratory diseases, heart conditions, and epilepsy. The clinic offers regular consultations, monitoring, laboratory testing, medication management, and patient education. Trained clinicians and nurses support patients in controlling their conditions through lifestyle counseling, adherence support, and early detection of complications.

The NCD team works closely with pharmacy, laboratory, nutrition, and community health workers to ensure continuity of care. By focusing on prevention, early management, and long-term follow-up, the clinic plays a key role in improving community health outcomes.
