The OPD provides consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services for patients. Patients are managed as outpatients, and those requiring further care or monitoring can be admitted to the hospital for inpatient treatment.

OPDs The Outpatient Department (OPD) at Kirehe District Hospital serves as the main entry point for patients seeking medical care. It provides daily consultations for a wide range of conditions, including general illnesses, chronic diseases, maternal health needs, pediatric issues, and minor injuries. 

The OPD is staffed by trained clinicians, nurses, and support personnel who perform assessments, diagnostics, prescriptions, and referrals to specialized units when needed. Services include laboratory testing, pharmacy support, and follow-up care. With high patient flow from across the district, the OPD focuses on efficient, patient-centered service to ensure timely treatment and continuity of care for the community.
