The Operation Room at Kirehe District Hospital provides safe and timely surgical care for emergency and elective procedures. It is equipped to handle obstetric surgeries, including cesarean sections, as well as general, trauma, and minor surgeries. The OR team consists of surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and support staff trained to ensure sterile technique, effective anesthesia, and postoperative monitoring.
Coordination with the emergency, maternity, and inpatient departments allows rapid response to critical cases. Despite limited resources and high demand, the Operation Room remains essential for saving lives, managing complications, and improving surgical outcomes for the population of Kirehe District.
